François Lorber takes over as head of our Bordeaux office
January 26, 2026
François LORBER joins Sully Group to take over as head of our Bordeaux agency. In this interview, he talks about his career path and his plans for the future.
François, can you tell us about your career path?
I am 47 years old, I was born in Pau and grew up in Dax. My career has always been rooted in the world of digital services companies. After graduating from business school, I started my career at GFI Informatique as a business engineer in the Telecoms & Media Division, before moving on to a role as market director in the Banking/Finance/Insurance sector.
I continued my career at Consort NT, where I managed the national commercial relationship for a major telecom account and supported the development of the Telecom & Media activities.
At the end of 2016, I joined the Créative Group to launch the Bordeaux agency, then the Toulouse agency in early 2019, before becoming the group's sales director in the summer of 2023. Nine exciting years, I have learned a lot from this adventure: projects, successes, sometimes difficulties, but above all encounters and strong professional experience.
What motivated you to join Sully?
Quite clearly, the people I met during the recruitment process: Sébastien Marjolet, Éric Chaboud, Frédéric Pinson, and Karine Martin-Fuentes, with whom I was able to discuss my vision. Their transparency, energy, and understanding of the field convinced me.
Sully Group has a solid range of offerings: Java, PHP, .NET, mobile, data, AI, CMS, GIS, IT outsourcing, UX/UI, and above all, major references that facilitate access to large accounts in a market where these are becoming increasingly concentrated. This is a real lever for development.
Finally, the combination of a national service center and local offices is a model that I find particularly relevant.
What is your vision for the business in Nouvelle-Aquitaine?
The local market is based on two areas:
- The Service Center, with a national reach;
- The local BU, which currently has around 35 employees.
National listings provide strong support, particularly those in the energy and public sectors. The partnership with CANUT also opens the doors to the public market, which is strategic in a region as vast as Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
But the greatest potential remains the Bordeaux ecosystem. It is an extremely dynamic economic fabric. Developing it will be one of my priorities.
What are the objectives for 2026?
The numerical targets are currently being studied, but several areas of focus have already been defined:
- Strengthen technical support, which currently employs around ten people.
- Develop the Service Center's activities, with more local business.
- Adapt our technological positioning, in particular by complementing our Drupal/PHP activity with Java and .NET offerings, which are also in demand in the Bordeaux market.
- Open new accounts by building on our already solid technical foundation.
If by the end of 2026 we have:
- Increased the growth of TA.
- Significantly developed the service center.
- Recruited new talent.
- Expanded our client portfolio.
...then I will consider that we have fulfilled our mission!
Any final thoughts?
I am very excited to be joining Sully Group. The welcome has been excellent, and there is a real desire to move forward, with high expectations but also the means to succeed.
This is a new stage, a new cycle, which I am eager to build with the local team and the entire group.
